Humans are social beings, as they live in societies, they work and spend their spare time together. They build families and homes in which they live with their loved ones. They cheer together and suffer together with their fellows from the group they belong to.
When people die, they are buried in the middle of their community, so their loved ones can mourn them. Of course, everything is available for most of the people, except the lonely ones, those who want to live alone, hence confirming the rule.
Recently, the international medical community has recognized the loneliness syndrome as being a neuropsychiatric disorder that can lead to the evolution of various other diseases.
Single or in a relationship?
People who are single consider that being single is the best option. However, those who are in a relationship think there is no better thing than being with someone you love. So, who is right? To answer this question, we need to do some comparisons between the two cases.
There are many advantages to being single. First of all, you don’t need to think about anyone but yourself. You can be completely selfish and do whatever you want, go wherever you wish, eat whatever you like and watch anything you like. Another advantage is that you can go dating. You get to meet new people and have a lot of fun. You may do any fun activities and exciting outings and with people you don’t know.
Being in a relationship
Being in a relationship is cool, as you get to share your life with someone you love. However, this doesn’t mean when you want to spend time alone you can’t. on the contrary, you need to spend time with your loved one and also spend some time alone doing the things you love. Being in a healthy relationship doesn’t take you away from your private time.
When you’re in a relationship, you also need to consider someone else other than yourself, so you can’t be selfish. However, this isn’t an obligation when you love your partner but it is a choice.
Another advantage of being in a relationship is you get to experience all of the fun and romantic holidays with your loved one.
How is it better?
As you can see, both options have advantages. So, being single or in a relationship is a matter of choice. It only depends on you to decide how is it best for you. However, you need to keep account that we are not lone cells, hence we weren’t meant to be alone. As human beings, we are better in a relationship than alone.
